USBE Family Guides

The Utah State Board of Education has finished resources for parents to help them to know the critical knowledge and skills acquired at each grade level/span.  Families are important partners in achieving USBE’s vision that “each student is prepared to succeed and lead by having knowledge and skills to learn, engage civically, and lead meaningful lives.” The purpose of these resources is to help families better understand what their children should learn, when a child may need more help or when a child would benefit from extra challenges. By using these resources families may find more ways to advance their child’s learning at home while encouraging growth in their communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The resources can be found by clicking this box.

All elementary parents are encouraged to know how to log in to their child's google classroom.  click here to learn how.

All elementary teachers will inform parents weekly of curricular goals and materials being used if they are beyond the materials provided and used here.

Teachers have access and use a wide variety of District Approved Digital Tools.  That list is available to our parents at this
link.  If teachers use these resources, they will inform parents through weekly curricular learning goals.

If a parent wishes to view any curricular materials that is not available online they can contact Megan Kunzler mkunzler@murrayschools.org to make an initial request.
